CHRIS CORNELL'S passion for design has only been matched by his singular dedication to helping his clients fulfill their vision.  Co-founder of Island House Interiors with his wife, Alexis, his expertise in residential design has won Cornell an outstanding reputation -- as well as an international clientele including ambassadors, senators and celebrities.  A native of Danville, Ill., Chris graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota.  Island House Interiors has completed private residences in New York, Philadelphia, Wisconsin, Texas, the Bahamas and throughout Florida.  The firm's work has been published in magazines such as Florida Design and Palm Beach Illustrated.  Creating a Caribbean and British Colonial sensibility, Cornell's style includes warm colors, tropical fabrics and classic furnishings.  He makes his mission to reflect the very best of each client, by creating personalized rooms that are tasteful, elegant and entirely functional.
